whats the top speed for 06 450 r? and what is it with the hrc kit? and how do you know if you have a hrc kit without knowin, i bought one used with no info, please let me know

 

I just responded to your other one about the hrc kit my guess on top speed would be around 62 for stock but haven't tried yet.

 

They will go a lot faster than 62 with the HRC kit. I GPS mined at around 78-79. Who the hell wants to go that fast anyways????

 

78 - 79 MPH is too much stock. I would give a 450r 75, possibly with a light weight rider and slight downhill slant 76. No more than that though, with a kit yes you may get 78 - 79, but what are the chances

 

with an hrc kit you are probably looking around 75 mph.....

i have slips from a 1/4 mile dragway to prove it and now my bike runs 105 in the quarter with a little more done to it....

 

I said stock not with the hrc kit with the kit it'll go a little bit faster but I haven't tried getting my speed on my 07 450r yet so I couldn't say for a fact the exact speed of it.

 

I have a 04 450r with a slip on E2 pipe and i raced a 650 enduro with a speedo gauge and he couldn't keep up with me. He tached out at 75mph. So about 78-80mph sounds right.

 

ok so i figured out about how fast mine is, i raced an 07 canam 800 HO we were dead even his speedo said 78 so thats my answer thanks for all the input tho

 

Its a known fact that the 450r pulls 78-79mph stock at the rev limiter ...the 04 and 05's do anyway but that depends on the weight of the rider. Its been in dirt wheels mag a couple of times. But if a guy weighs about 250 to 300 lbs dont know if it will top out. Check the link im posting .
