how many rocker arms does a 400ex have....i thought there where only two but my mechanic is trying to tell me im going to have to have 4 arms done? anyone know how much this costs? everything is going to web.....thanks

The 400EX is a 4 valve engine and has 4 rocker arms, as well as 4 intermediate arms that help keep everything correct for the funky angles of the RFVC combustion chamber.... So, in a way, you could say it has 8....

 

I paid $64 for my 4 stock rockers and $221 including shipping to have them hardened.
