HRC Kit???

HRC Kit???
Just got a 2005 450R and was wondering about the HRC kit. I've heard that if you install the HRC kit, the it recommends to change the piston and rings every 10-15 hours. doesnt sound logical to me. just wondering if anyone else has heard this
