My son is going to buy a 450R. I believe its a 2005 model, black. $3,500 for the bike. The only thing wrong with it, it needs new sprockets and a chain, and the tires have slow leaks. Bike was well maintained, just was not washed very often, but kept inside. Plastic still shiines, and runs real fast. Lucky kid, or lucky me, since He is borrowing some money from me.

Bike was never jumped hard, just rode fast. Should be a good bike.

 

That is a really good deal, do the HRC cam, and WB exhaust, and porting, and you will have a very fast bike, let me know if you need help.

 

good deal I guess but make sure you check the valves and you ust keep up maintanance wise since it is pretty much a race engine and high compression...check the oil every ride along with the trans fluid level and filter...I would recommend just changing both once you get the quad along with the filter if you need any help because you don't have a manual let me know...good luck with it you will love it

 

Thanks. My son is excited. He should be getting it this week. I know the bike just had an oil change, I helped the guy, but I will help my son go threw it before he rides. Should be a good bike for him. He needs more umph since his blaster is not holding its own anymore. Needs the 240 kit.

 

I was going to tell you to be weary, but if you know the guy then you probably know how well-maintained this machine was. But in my mind, good maintenance=a wash after every ride. But that's just me. You're going to have quite a collection of Hondas. All three groundbreaking machines.

 

Oo he will have some umph alright you just wait make sure he is careful if you hit the gas hard around corners or something the front end on my 07 tends to pop up

Picked up the quad last night. Had my son go through the manual and the maintence record stuff. He was a happy kid last night. Looking forward into riding this weekend. I will try an get some pictures of all our quads.

I just picked up a 400 EX 2004 model for 500 bucks, needed a new frame. I got that, and now I will transfer all the parts over and try and sell it. Also got some ASR +2 arms for 200 bucks, brand new. These will be installed on the new 400.

1-Banshee Oldest son
1-Blaster Youngest son
1-Honda 450 Youngest son in my garage/shed.. Running out of room 20x16.
