Titles and registration in PA

When I purchased my Rancher, there was a certificate document from Honda, stating the Model, Serial, Horsepower, and other details about the ATV.
This document was sent into the Commonwealth, along with a form to register the ATV. Several weeks later I received registration stickers for the ATV, along with a Certificate of Title, similar to a automobile.
I believe that you only get a Commonwealth Title document if you register your ATV. And you need to have it registered if you wish to ride on designated public ATV trails in the state.

I found out that i needed to call and see if it had a title (i got the number from a dealer to call) And i was lucy mine did not have a title (and no leans) so we hade to get a notarized bill of sale and trace the vin number. that was how one dealer did it (the one that i got it done from) but a nother dealer said i had to bring in the atv (and bill of sale). a nother notery wanted the certificate document from Honda ( i thenk they called a slip of origin) and bring the quad in and i forget what else he wanted (that i probaly could never get)
