Help with 400ex

I pulled my 400ex out and put the choke on and tired to fire it up it wouldn't. It would turn over every once and a while but never start. Whats wrong??? Any help would be apreciated.

I can almost guarantee it is your spark plug. It happens to me all of the time. To find out, pull the boot off of it and unscrew the plug and then put it back in the boot and lay the tip of the plug on something metal and then turn the key on and hit the starter a couple of times. If it is the sparkplug it will also probably be charred black and have no spark or a very light one. Go pick up a couple of new ones and im guessing if youve ran your battery alot it is dead or dying to pull out the jumper cables and jump it off of you car. Hope thats what it is cause otherwise it might get expensive.

I once had a sticker on my 250r, "TURN THE GAS ON DUMMY". It helped a lot. lol

Hey it happened to me this morning (bad plug) it sucked cause i didn't have any spares laying around.

I would think you fowled out a plug becuase it happened to me and after a while you can flood your bike out !! NO BIGGIE
