the conditions would be on a mottocross track and the bikes would be stock.zillarider,u do have a point, lets say the riders are equaly as good.(of course that wont happen but use your immagination)and enFORCER that was funny.if your guys want my opinion,i think the 250R would beat the banshee by a mile because we have a '86 'R' and a '88 'R' and they are crazy fast. and me and my dad have raced banshees and won but we grew up on bikes so that can be an advantage. i just wanted to get others opinion on the matter.
thanks

ok then, lets change the area, lets say they where in the sand dunes, both had the same tires and are both stock.the 250R should still win

dude as much as i like em and stuff ive spent allot of time on both (own as well) and i can tell you that a stock banshee will kill a stock 250R in the dunes. a banshee is happiest in the dunes. but im sure that 88 250r you have w/ the 330 kit, could handle a stock banshee...
also, the 1986 250r you mention in your sig- what kind of engine is in it? are you sure its a real 250R? b/c a 250R does not have 'pro racing cams'...or any cams...its a two stroke.
