differences between '01 and '04 Rubicon carbs
My '01 needs some carb work. Does anyone know the differences in the two. I looked at the micrfiche online and the carb numbers for '01-'03 are the same but the '04 is different. Most of the componenets are the same part numbers but not all. I found a good deal on a new '04 carb if it wil work on my '01. Any advice appreciated.

JRM,
Thanks. Bought the carb and installed it yesterday. Performed flawlessly. Mine originally developed a flat spot just of idle. Removed the carb and cleaned some junk from the bowl and blew the jets out but no help. Wasn't from letting it sit with fuel in it. I ride it at least once or twice a week all year long. Did not feel like going deeper into the carb at that time. The replacement carb was a new Honda unit I found on ebay for $65 shipped. I couldn't have had it looked at for that and a kit for the carb was about $25. Thanks again for the input.
