Would a 350x swingarm fit my ex and the 350x shock too. What about the bearing carrier axle etc.. will i have to use all those parts from a 350x too??

I did this on my 250x which is the same as a 300ex (I think). You will need the complete swingarm with the bearing carrier, disc and brake, axle, hubs, and shock. The 350 swingarm is nearier in the front so you will need to go to the store and buy about 6 or so 1/2 in washers to take up the space. I used all of mine on the right side. But make sure that the chain is straight from the fron to the rear sprocket, or you will have a problem of the chain coming off. You will also need to make a sleeve for the inside of the bolt hole on top of the shock or drill out the mounting holes on the frame for the shock. You will also need a longer chain. These were the only problems that I can remember that came up when I did this about 3 years ago. You will like the ride that it gives you. If you know what you are doing and have the tools it should only take about 2 or 3 hours from start to finish.
