I was wondering if i can put a dual light system on my 300ex? I know I can Physically install one, but is there anything i have to chane or upgrade ? Would i have to install a larger stater or something, bigger battery maybe? Any help would be useful. I am considering a standard ATV light kit. Something a little better then the stock lighting system !!

My 300ex was flipped and the headlight assembly was broke off. I went to Pep Boy's and bought some automobile fog lights, mounted them to the steering column. My stock stator gives me more than enough juice to run these lights. My lights seem to be a little brighter than the stock headlights. You could probably also get a headlight assembly off of a 400ex but, check to see if you can mount them.
P.S. It is www.rickystator.com (i noticed you spelled it stater)
you can reach him at (619)449-3905

Micheal...
Thanks for your tips...The Pep Boys ide is a great one. i think i will go with that idea. I will just have to fabricate a cage and mounting bracket, not a problem though.. Thanks for your help with the starting question too. After i read that, i thought i was a idiot or something for not relizing that. But i went home and it didn't work. So i knew I was right the first time. i will listen for the click and see what happens !!!! Thanks again!!!
Do you have any Mods to your 300ex ?? I am a stocker for know, trying to save some money for some stuff !!! Where are you from ??
Sorry if this doesn't sound right, i am not quite awake yet..

I haven't gotten to wild yet but I am gonna try to beef up mine this winter. So far I just have a K&N filter and a supertrapp exhaust. I recently bought mine from someone that didn't take good care of it so I have spent alot of time nursing it back to tip top condition. That hasn't left me much time (or money) to hop up the performance. by the way, I am from Cincinnati.
