Jetting on a 450R
I live at an elevation of 4500ft and it's my understanding that my 05 450R is jetted to sea level (just like every other bike), so I should be running rich(?).
I just added a UNI air filter and a HMF QRS full exhaust and the bike runs great, so should I get it re-jetted?
Thanks for your help,
Tom

Yea I would rejet as Honda does jet it lean from the factory and your bike will be running lean, and you don't want to be messing up the engine, so I would rejet. I am not sure what size jets though as I haven't messed with my carb just yet and don't have any performance mods that would make me need to rejet, so someone else on here can chime in on that topic.

my stock is a 120, i live at 3000 feet and it runs a little rich. but if you are that hi than i would say to rejet. but the first thing to do it look at youre spark plug, don't do what everybody else does, go off the color of youre spark plug and jet accourdingly. good luck
