Does anyone know if you can convert an S to an ES without too much trouble?

A couple of years ago, someone here did the research for parts needed to do a conversion, and the bill came out to be about $1200 plus labor.

List of things you would need that I can think of off the top of my head:
Wiring harness, left handlebar switch, shift motor, angle sensor, ecm, meter, shift shaft (requires splitting engine cases to install, es shift shaft is longer, sticks out of front engine cover to attach to shift motor reduction gears), front engine cover and gearshift postion sensor. I would have to double check but I believe there is a second speed sensor and what ever part of the engine it attaches to would also need replacing.

In other words the quick answer to your question is no.
