Default 25" on 400ex

My 20" tires are really bald right now. There's some snow on the ground and I don't have good traction AT ALL. As a temporary solution, I think I'm goign to take the 25" Swampfoxes off my 250 fourtrax and put them on the 400ex and order some new holeshots or something for it. I know I'll be gearing up (a lot), but I've already geared down with a 14T front sprocket. I want to ride around and just watn to know what you guys think?

My buddies tires on his 450r wore out, and he put a set of 25" wolly boogers on his. He only rode them for about a week while he was waiting for his new wheels ans tires to come in.

I see you have the same 250 as me crummie. I don't have stock tires on it, I swapped them for Swampfoxes.

I went ahead and took the 20" off my 400ex and put the 25" Swampfoxes on. Oh man I love it. It pulls right thorugh the snow and it climbs like crazy. It goes real fast in 3rd gear, doesn't top in 4th and doesn't have much power in 5th at all. It's only temporary though, I know that it's not good for the overall life of the tranny and engine.

Yeah my buddies 450r lost alot of power when he ran the 25's. My 250 is still all stock. It still runs just like it did when it was brand new. I sent you a PM by the way.
