How many of you run on 93 octane. Here's my mods, will 93 be alright?
10.8:1 JE
bored to 416
Lectron Carb
Port and Polish
3 angle valve job
White Brothers Rev limiter
xr400 cam
I also have lrd full exhaust system.
Anyone have similar mods? How do you like it? The same guy building mine, built one for a guy that i race with and he has the same mods as me except his is stock bore and he doesn't have the 3-angle valve job. He eats banshee's up with 16/36 gearing. We race TT track.

Also, the guy building my motor says that he recommends stock bore. He said your getting your gain off of the higher compression. He said boring really didn't make much difference. What should i do?

 

I run 92 with a little octane boost and my EX runs fine. About the bore thing, a 416 would be fine, we need all the power we can get don't we?.
