Default Track?? help

Ok i just bought 5 acres and i am wanting to build a track on it.. MX track.. but i dont want it to be some rinky-dink thing.. I want it to be nice.. I have a bobcat and bull dozer.... so building it wont be that hard.. I need a good track geomerty... angle of jumps and how my landings should be angled.. (take-off) (lift) (distance) Its 2 lanes wide in all parts b/c its going to be a fourwheeler only track.. I want big jumps and rithem sections and eveything a pro track would have.. I hope this made sence to everyone who reads this if not just as my to clarify any part.. Any help would be apprecated Im hoping to start the build in about a month or 2

Your best bet is to go to a track you like and take some measurements. Maybe the guys who maintain it would be willing to talk to you. I don't think you are going to find a book on track building or anything like that.

We had a track a few years back, and we just built the jumps then tested them out and modified them to get what we wanted. It was all seat of the pants stuff, but still worked out well in the end.

Default Track?? help

quads and bikes are very different. i rode on a mx track for bikes and i have to say that i would never do it again. that was a rough ride, i say you should start by just building a flat track, getting used to that is easy, then you add a few small jumps and build them bigger as you go, that way you will be used to the track without all the jumps. i had a freind that built his bike track that way, if you build it up instead of building it all at once then you will be used to the distances on it.
