Default HRC kit help!!!!!!1

I Installed an HRC kit in my 2005 trx 450r. Everything was taken appart with caution and put back in the same position i was taken appart, i was very carful when i took the timing chain i made shure every tooth was in the same place. I rode it around for a few hours and it ran awsome. the next day i took it to the dunes with the new open airbox cover on. It was very wet on the way out so i went slow. It soon started to sputter and then when i held the throttle down it had no power and it died. I thaught it took in water so i drained the carb and waited and it fiered up but same problem, now it wont kick over at all and if it does it struggles badley and dies. Needless to say my day was totally ruined got there at 10am finnaly got towed out at 8pm, got to my truck and tailer and had a flat tier, so someone help me can't live without my quad !!!!!!!

As simple as that sounds about the choke I have seen a friend do this. He bought a 300ex and it was cold out so to get it going he put the choke on and took off forgetting all about the choke... when the machine finally warmed up it kept spuddering and stalling all the way until he finally got to my house and asked me to check it out. The first thing i did when i jumped on it was reach down and turn off the choke... then I wheeled it out my backyard into the trail while he stood there stupified. Funny story but my feeling are you problem is a bit more safisticated then that. GL on your quad broI know the feeling.

It's a 2005 so it does not have the jumper wire on the sub harness.
Did you keep tension on the timing chain tightener when you reinstalled it? If even a little tension slipped it would release tension on your timing chain and throw it out of time.
Re-check your timing and then also check to make sure the cam/valve assembly is still firmly in place.
Check your valve clearances too.
Did you torque everything to specs?

I may be a girl but i am mechnaically inclinned i can take an engin apart and put it back together but this time it is somthing probably as simple a the choke being on, and yes the choke was off.
when i took the timming chain off the sprocket i didn;t have to loosen the tensoner but i could not get it back on so i hade to loosen it that could be it, and i tightened everything to specs.
I am tearing everything appart tonight so ill have to see from there. and up date everyone tomorow.

I'm sure you can very easily handle installing the HRC kit yourself. Being female has nothing to do with it. However, there is a very specific method you need to follow when installing a new cam.
You should not replace or remove the timing chain/gear without removing the timing chain tensioner! This should be removed BEFORE you removed the cam gear and timing chain! Correct timing cannot be achieved without correctly replacing the timing chain tensioner.
In order to replace the timing chain tensioner before timing the engine, you need to use a timing chain tensioner tool, or a small flat head screw driver to wind the spring in the tensioner. It is a little difficult to do with a small screw driver because you need to keep tension on it while bolting the tensioner back on the engine (hold the screw driver tight without unwinding).
Once you wind up the tensioner with the screw driver you'll be able to feel the tension.
Once the tensioner is back on the engine, then you'll be able to time the engine.
I would also recommend checking your piston and valves to make sure the valves did not contact the piston when the timing changed.
Good luck.

If it was a timming problem wouldn;t the quad not even run from the beginning, because when i installed it i drove it around for an hour, then the next day i headed out to the dunes and after 20minutes of ridding then it started to bog out and died, then i waited a few minutes and it ran again for another 50 feet as if nothing was wrong, then it sputtered and bogged again, after that it would fier after a few minuts the when it did start it struggled badly and gas was comming out of my air box.

The tensioner was all the way loose, so after riding awhile, the timing chain probably jumped. Check your marks.
