I am currently replaceing my CV boot on my right side of the quad. When I was taking the lower ball joint off of the lower A-arm I accidently ripped the grease boot. I found the part I need to get on servicehonda.com (I must but the whole ball joint not just the rubber boot) So i havta get the old one out. My question is....

Is the ball joint pressed into the lower knuckle??? because I took the snap ring off and tried to hammer the ball joint off of the knuckle and I had no luck. Before I start smashing the hell out of it hopefully someone will give me some advice.
