I recently bought a 2001 250EX & 1998 300EX and was looking into getting jetting kits for them. I was told by the shop where I went to buy the kits that I didn't need them and I could adjust the current jet's and they would work fine. Is that true? Are there any inexpensive/easy ways to get more performance out of my quads? By the way I'm in Colorado and ride in altitudes up to 9,000 feet.

 

I would purchase a product called "Dial A Jet" This allows you to adjust the jets yourself pretty much on the go. This would be nice if you are changing altitudes a lot. As far as performance, my uncles 300ex has a pipe, K&N, and rev box and it screams.
