hi- i have a 85 honda 250r atc with full FMF pipe and silencer along with a K&N filter with BOYESEN reeds-was wondering if anyone could tell me what jets to upgrade to from my stock 142? i called fmf themselves and they suggested a 145 jet but that didnt seem to be too much different from what i have now-anyone who can give me some info would be GREATLY appreciated-thanks alot

I don't want to discourage you, but no matter what anyone may recommend, you'll still need to go by trial and error.

I had a 1985 250R that used a 165 main. Of course, I had lots of mods. My friend uses a 142 in his. He also has lots of mods, but they are different.

The saying 'The only time you need to rejet is when you need to rejet' is true!

Take the time, and get it right. There is a gereat deal of satisfaction in doing something with your own hands.
