need some help with my honda

Default need some help with my honda

i have a 03 honda 350 rebuilt it 10 over adjusted valves and did compression test only 60 lbs did the oil test compression never went up atv starts runs just like new but worried about compression when i had the head of i put gas on them and they seal fine what could the prob be how can i tell my valves are opening and closing properly thats all i can think of the problem being

60 psi doesnt sound right. most engines need 100psi or more to even fire.. You probably didnt have it apart this far...but are you sure the timing chain isnt off a tooth?

also, make sure you are checking with the throttle wide open. (make sure ignition is disabled for safety reasons)

honda 350 brand new is 97 psi. mine is currently at 92 psi. a leak down tester will find where the problem in your compression lies

its a push rod engine still there is no belt whats a leak down tester and how does it work i have never herd of them i just assumed if it wasnt rings it would have to be valves
