New ATV Models
#1
I live in Minnesota and have seen the changes in snowmobiles over the years and it seems as if the ATV marketplace is going down the same road. Every year brought on larger, faster sleds until the insurance companies said enough. The suspensions improved which was a welcome addition. The cost of the machines grew in leaps and bounds from year to year. It got so that a trail ride was a dangerous affair, usually mean,t an encounter with a young somtimes bar-hopping male setting the new Intercontential speed record on your side of the corner!! Where do you think the ATV market is going? Will we sacrifice dependability for more features? Will there be special editions offered like an ATV designed for off-trail use? Just wondered after I reading a recent write-up on upcoming 650's and other possible offerings. Anybody got any thoughts about this?

I think the size of atv engines will continue to grow. The market to be the fastest is to large to ignore.I don't believe we will see anymore 2 strokes and sleds will go to 4 strokes. I think man. will try to increase reliability along with this although it is good already, think what we put our machines through everyday we use them. The off-road atv scares to many tree huggers. We do need to remember that one rider sets an image for all others !!!
