I PUT ON NEW BARS AND IT IS KINDA UGLY WITH THE HEADLIGHT STICKING OUT THERE LIKE IT IS. IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN MAKE IT LOOK BETTER WITHOUT LOSING MY ABILITY TO RIDE AT NIGHT?

I also put new renthals on my EX. I took off the entire headlight assembly, keyswitch, and indicator lights. I reloacated the keyswitch and lights on the side of the gas tank, and replaced the headlight with a cool looking KC light. It's much brighter and has a cool cover. Just and idea!

Hey ever...do you have any pictures of that setup? I'd like to see how it looks. I've been thinking of getting rid of the stock bars too but haven't figured out what to do with the light yet.
Doesn't the 250R have a head light in the front fender? I wonder if it's possible to install a maier 250r front/rear fenders with headlight and all on a 300ex?

Sorry, no pics. But the headlight mounts using the hardware that comes with it. Mount it to the handlebar base, you may have to use a small 4' piece of metal between the base and the mount to make sure things get good and tight.

I put rentahl handle bars on my 300ex , and i took off the key ignition and left it off.Now all i need to do is attach the two wires together to make it start. I left the headlight on but i was thinking about putting it down near the bumper show it would shine out in-between the bumper bars.

i took the entire headlight, keyswitch, and indicator lights off. I reloacted the keyswitch and indicator lights to the handlebars. i took the light out of the plastic and put it right in my front bumper. It fit perfect. It would of stayed in there just by itself but i used some hose clamps just for added protection. All I had to do was make my wires a little longer to rewire the headlight to the bumper.
