It doesn't suprise me. I HATE that 2-strokes are slowly disappearing. They are more nimble and MUCH more simple to maintain than the 4 strokes, and in my opinion more fun. Stinkin' emmissions laws and enviro-****'s. They are quieter in the woods too. Go figure. I guess I shouldn't go off on a rant to bad being a new member and all, I just hate seeing them go. Guess I can't ever sell mine now, I just hope I can keep getting the parts I need to keep it going.

and screamers smell nicer- i got sick at the Walton Transcan motocross last year, the fourstrokes just dont smell good, but then a random guy cruises around on a screamer, and its like "ah" relief, smells like snowmobiles

Actually it's not them who we can blame for this one, it is Honda! They just want to promote 4-strokes so they can make more money on initial cost and then parts.

And it's not just the CR250, it's ALL 2-strokes that Honda makes. I would think they would at least keep the CR85, but they said "all" 2-strokes which IMO is a bonehead move.
