hi, i was just wondering, how much would it help if i got a K&N Air filter, and maybe a precharger.,... will there be a notcicable dif.? my 400 is completly stock... will i tell the dif?? will it change horsepower or anything?? and how much will a dyno jet kit help? how much do k&n's cost and dyno jet kits??
any help would be appriciated... thanx ... and merry christmas!!

the k&n was the first thing i done to my 400ex and i personal noticed a difference. and to really notice a diff. try and take the lid off and ride around. i thought the top end was better, however the low end was not near as good. i don't think it is a good idea to ride all the time with out a lid, but to get a different feel try it for a little while. also if drag racing it helps out in the 4th and 5th gears. just my thoughts so expect different views.

do u know anything about the dyuno jet kit?? do u know of a better and better performance filter??

i have a k&n with the prechager it let's it breath more i noticed a diference but this was after i put my pipe on and rejetted it.

Hey, sully i wont be out for a while i am puting my quad down my uncle's garage for a week or 2 because i have put my mods on and my new tires so it will be up on bricks, i canceled my holeshot order and i am gunna put my quad up on bricks and just bring my rims/tires down to gap racing and i will probobly buy the turf tamers they haev up there and i will get them monted an rims up there so i will be set

I got a k&n power kit for my 300 2x4. i noticed a big improvement. I could do wheelies on it, and no i didn't pop the clutch or power shift it. Get the filter and jets, it helped my 300, i have 400ex now and i plan to get the kit once it comes out for my 2001. hope this helped
