I READ ON A POST THAT YOU COULD MAKE YOUR 300EX FASTER IF YOU GO UP ON YOUR COMPRESSION AND CAM IT! HOW DO YOU DO THOSE? PLEASE HELP!!!!

 

You will have to send it out to a race shop like Tc racing , 4 stroke tech, and others. probably looking at $500 or more for the work.

You don't have to send your work to a shop if you are comfortable about opening your engine. Go to www.webcaminc.com for a cam. Lots of info there to help you decide which cam is best for your application.
You will need a new piston if you want to up the compression. You can get a hold of weisco or others depending on what you want. Do a little research..
I will suggest you go to your next oversize to clean things up.. Ask around and you will find a machine shop to do the boring for you after you get the piston.
Then all you need is a set of top end gaskets and someone to help you along if you are not comfortable about doing the work yourself.
