250r a arms
#1
Well took the a arms of my R and they where a B to get out anyway when I put the bolts back on and tighten the bolt just turns and I think the bolt and nut are a little crossthreaded. Will a tap and die set fix this to get them to easily screw on or what do I have to do cause cant tighten them down

A lot depends on how bad they are cross threaded. Since it is the A-arms, I would not mess around too much with the threads.
But if I am not mistaken, you will not be able to use any bolt in there. I do not think the local parts store bolt will hold under the pressure and pounding. I would make a few calls and find out how much a new bolt set would be.
If the treads are not that bad, you could fix them with a tap and die. Just make sure it will hold.

Dont screw around with nuts and bolts hehe. Seriously though the lock nut is only perfect the first time you use it,not to mention the rust and dirt you may have pulled through the nut if they have been on there for awhile.A few bucks won't kill you a runaway A-Arm might.
