im racin my friend next weekend and he has a 400ex with a powercore 4 pipe on it, and i have a stock z400 what do you guy think will it be close or a blow out?

 

Down a long desert wash, a stock Z will slowly walk away from a lightly modded EX.

 

I think they're close enough that if you're both of equal skill, you'll trade wins.

 

i agree with NLWarrior01. even with the ex light mods the z will still be slighty faster but ca definately get beat- trade wins

I raced this chick on her NEW 07 400ex last weekend. had a FMF full exhaust(i think megamax or something). This is on sand, we both have stock tires, mine have about 50% tread left, hers are brand new. we were neck n neck for the first 15 feet, then i pulled away and ended up beating her by about 4 lengths. Her b\f raced me the second time and i still beat him by 2 lengths. He was beside me til about 3rd gear, I thought it was gunna be pretty close but i just kept pulling away.


I was going to ask to switch bikes and race again, but her bike is pretty much brand spankin new and she seen the way I drive so she probably would of said a big NO. lol
