older models and why you loved them

I would like to hear about older model hondas, say at least 15 years old or older, back when i bought my first 4x4 honda, a 87 trx350 i thought it was the best thing in town after owning a 83 honda odyessey this 4x4 machine was a much better unit, in my area southern rhode island no one else that i new had one, all though susuki did make a 4x4 also i didn't think it was as nice of a total package as my 350, my 350 had shaft drive front and rear and was full time 4 wheel drive, i never had a problem with it that was the machines fault. The fun i had on that machine was beyond words, i only hope my new 06 fourman 500 will wow me like my trx 350 did. everyone i let drive it [even die hard motorcycle buffs] loved it to death, and the fact that it was the only one around made it that much better. It is still floating around somewhere in my area, with all these new brand quads i wonder how many will be around in 20 years, the only machines i see lasting that long are hondas mostly with susuki a close second, lets hear your stories.

Well, the only older one that we had that I could remember that we rode the hell out of was 198(5?) 125. I'm only going by what we owned and I'm sure there were better things out there but I guess I was too young to really pay attention. We had that thing forever and we gave it away about 2 years ago. It's been through a lot, especially in the mud and the front tires and so worn out, there really smooth. It ran pretty good too for many years so I guess it was tough for being so old.
