I gotta agree with propnut on this one. You got a sick Rincon. There is no way a Wolvy will out run a Rincon. The Rubi isn't going to do it either.
As for keeping it running in water? You can move the carb vent line. Add a longer hose and run it up to the handlebar area. Its more than likely steam causing this. The vent line comes off the bottom of the carb and is easy to reach and relocate. If you want real info on the Rincon go to Rinconriders.net. Anything and everything you need to know about a Rincon. Also BKR is a dealer and makes good deals to members on parts.

That just proves its sick. Hondas aren't known for speed. But 47mph on a Rincon is a sick Rincon. On GPS when mine was stock would run over 60mph. After mods I never got it over 65mph, but it was still pulling. The CDI raised the rev limit and others are reporting 70 plus. But I honestly don't want to run the fast. I like 0-40. And after the mods listed in my sig, it was a very fun quad to ride.
You really should do some basic checking. Is your throttle opening all the way? Its cable operated and might not be going wide open. Will your quad even wheelie? A stocker will do it, although not real easy. One thing you could do is clip the carb spring. This doean't add horsepower. But really makes a difference in throttle response. You said all maintenance has been done. I assume that a dealer has done it? You might want to find another one. You need a second opinion.

I was on the wovly that beat the Rincon, the Rincon can't touch in in exceleration, it has no low or mid range. On a longer track the Rincon could have probaly ran me down, however, on a short drag race or running through the twistys the rincon doesn't have the acceleration to keep up.

Yep, I saw it. Walked the Rincon from the word go. In a short race, Rincon didn't stand a chance.

I have a 2007 Wolvy with 100 miles on it and I also have a 2005 Rincon with 340 miles. In no way will the Wolvy do what the Rincon can, but I love both. The Rincon is much more powerful and goes thru and over anything easier than the Wolvy, but both are formidable units. I'm not crapping on either, only pointing out that my Wolvy isn't as fast as my Rincon.
