06 Foreman pulling to right
#1
I've got a new 06 Foreman ES that I bought as a leftover. I've only ridden twice so far. Both times if feels to me like it is pulling to the right and that left turns seem hard sometimes. I've checked the tire pressures, all are equal. Is this normal? Or is there something else I should check?

From the factory, they come to the dealerships with pre-set frontend alignment,..officially...but they are only guesstimates....even from the manufacturuer. And being that these are offroad machines, hardly ever does anyone put alot of focus on it unless it is pulling to one side as you describe.
Call your dealer and tell him that it's been pulling since you purchased it....as you described.
He shouldnt charge you for the expense as it IS part of the pre-delivery setup that the dealer is responsible to check over before you take the ATV home. Dont wait any longer to tell them about it or your claim will not carry any weight with the dealership and you will likely then have to pay up for the fix out of your own pocket.
Or,...if you want to save yourself all the hassle, grab a couple wrenches and do it yourself if you have a few straight edges and a measuring tape.

On my first ride on the new Rincon, it started pulling to one side. I found one tire toed in bad, and that the lock nuts on one tie rod were loose and spinning around on the tie rod... I also talked to someone who's new Foreman did the same thing. I just reset the toe per the factory manual myself.
Anyhow, look to see that there isn't anything bent, and that the tie rod lock nuts aren't loose. Then look at setting the toe. Two builder's squares can be used as a toe gauge if you don't have one.

Do not lift it with a jack. You want to check it with the weight on the wheels because they tend to tow out with weight. I have yet to see one delivered new that was set up right. I don't trust any of the mechanics around here. Do it yourself if you want it done right. My Rubicon was way off, and even worse after the flaky dealer mechanic worked on it.
