Hey guys just bought a 07 trx450r. Amazing bike ausome power, but anyways im buying and hmf slip on. I just want it to be loud I don't need more speed or power. But anyway do I have to rejet because everyone says for slip ons you don't. Please help me out thanks.

 

ya u should get it re-jetted and its strongly suggested

 

hmf isnt as good as the scorpions they get more dbs

 

i would have to say for the slip on go wit a yoshi hmf fmf or white bros.


P.S.
HMF pipes are probly the loudest of the pipes i listed and know of that are good.

ok i dont think you know a lot about atv exhausts and that hmf is one of the best out there and loudest and scorpions exhaust no one talks about or is in any atv mags. like rocky mountain so dont start talking crap about an exhaust that is well known and that ok.

 

Why would you not want to rejett?
Your quad comes lean from the factory just to meet EPA standards. you risk burning her up! It takes less than a hour to pop in a 170 main. The pilot is ok, I've tried moving it up and it's to rich, Pop the air box lid off, rejett, and add your slip on and it will be a different quad. Do it right or dont do anything at all.
