i am thinking about buying a new honda 420 what model is the absolute best i need help with my decision and should iu get it in camo

The 420 is a sweet little machine, and probably the best value for your dollar of any quad on the planet! Good handling, good suspension, and very peppy engine. Fuel injected, water cooled, selectable 2wd/4wd, very low "granny" 1st gear (doesn't need a transfer case)...all the basics are covered. It is a solid rear axle machine, which keeps it solid, stable and planted.

But, it is a trail quad plain and simple! Don't try to make it into anything else. It is a mistake to load it down with huge tires, etc. If you were looking for a monster mud bogger or heavy work quad, that isn't this machine!

I say avoid the ES electronic shift model! An unusual number of posts lately about problems with this system....

Do note that this model is going to get some updates for 08! It (along with the Recon and 400EX), is not listed as an 08 model on the Honda web site. Most likely it will be available with a power steering option.
