Well im lost now..I did a comprestion test with the throttle open and i got 125 psi...but i still have blow by..So i took the vavle cover off and noticed the was not any oil lubbing the push rods or valves..I no this isnt right.
There is a small hole with an O ring around it..but its dry...isnt that where the oil comes from to lube it all??
And where is the oil pump

Did you start the engine with the valve cover off ...?... This is the oil pressure of a TRX350 the TRX400 should be the same ..

Yes a plugged oil filter or an oil filter installed backwards .. The new Honda oil filters won't install backwards (Honda started making them with a lip around the outside so they will only fit in one way) I'm not sure about aftermarket filters they/or some may install backwards .. The oil uses the cylinder stud as an oil passage it's also possible something could have a passage plugged ..

Before running it again, remove the oil filter and make sure its not installed backwards. The rubber o-ring on the end of the filter should face outside... towards the oil filter cover.

By the, I havent saw it mentioned, but have you checked the oil level?

Remove the oil filter cover very carefully, and watch as it comes apart, to see which way the oil filter is installed. If it was backwards, you have probably already suffered great damage.

The oil pumps in these machines area almost bullet proof, In all my time in the dealerships, I have never saw one fail, but thats just my personal experience.

I have worked in two Honda dealerships, for ten years.

honda tech man thanks for all the help..anyway I put a new oil filter in..the old one didnt seal for what i could see....the new one works great...oil comes out just like in the clip u gave me to look at...but now it really smokes..prob cause its getting the oil that it suppose to have....what would cause the blow by and the smoking..I have 125 psi of comprestion and the motor sounds great..would the valve seals cause this smoke or maybe the piston oil ring.....
