<div class="FTQUOTE"><begin quote>I have ridden almost all these so called "big bore" utility quads with a CVT and am very unimpressed. </end quote></div>
The only big bore utility ATV that still used a 5 speed is a 500 Vinson and a 500 Foreman, both are not considered big bores any longer and both are not the fastest or most powerful even in the 500cc class.
So what utility does impress you?
I just came back from a 4 day trip and switched ATVs with my friend and rode his 500 cc Foreman for miles and trying to keep it in the righ gear for the right situation was much more work than it was worth. Even in the right gear and power band the Foreman was obviously lower on the HP scale between the two 500s .
I,m sure the Foreman 500 will last forever but sometimes a short good time beats out a long mediocre time.

I would buy a used 250R or used 450 instead save money.Ever since scott summers rode that couch they expect every 1 to turn results like that.I think Honda did a great diservice an gave a black eye to the off road community by being in bed w the enviros an siding in to kill the 2 stroke.Over weight overpriced machines sold by people that think they have an air of superiorty over every 1. Ride red ride russian should be there moniker.

I sure am glad there are so many smart people on this forum to open my eyes, that's it I'm loading up my Honda and taking it to the nearest Polaris dealer and trading it in. I'll tell them this fourwheeler is just to reliable and not nearly heavy enough, can you sell me something that is heavier than a Bobcat and will need to be worked on after every ride. They will say sure then we will take that used Honda and sell it for more than a brand new Polaris.

I have to apologize to the adults on this forum who have Polaris's, I usually don't get caught up in the brand bashing but it really pisses me off when people come into a Honda thread and start bashing Honda's. I have never gone into other brands threads and bashed their brand. We all bought our bikes because it is what we wanted. I happen to be loyal to Honda and ride with a large group of people who are just like me and when it's time to trade in for another Honda. I'll be getting a better used price for mine because it's a Honda. And to those of you that say Honda's are boring, I guess you haven't spent any time on a Rincon or a Rancher 420.

I have rode the Rincon and I also noticed I did not have to shift gears and had a IRS rear end with no drum brakes. I guess Honda gets it wrong sometimes.

TLC, you don't have to change gears if you don't want to but thats the great thing about the rincon, rubi, and rancher at's trannys you can if you want to. I have nothing against irs or auto tranny's, I have something against brand bashing.

No body has riden this machine yet, how can anybody knock it? i have ridden hondas 650xr motor and it was powerefull. 505lbs sounds a little heavy but that motor is huge and is a lot of the weight. im sure this bike will fill its purpose finely. And as long as the 650xr has been around this thing should have a ton of hop up parts. Lets let it get into our hands before we start taking it apart. This is a honda not polaris, we know it aint going to fall apart.

Electric shift is pretty gay too. So what exactly did the 800 Can-Am beat the raptor in? Other than a mudbog or rockcrawling it will lose in every other category, especially a drag race.</end quote></div>
F%ck man, i wanna smoke what your smokin! Not impress with the bigbores??? Remember they are 4strokes and are detuned. If the Can-am 800 wont impress you powerwise, idunno what would?
There will always be a market for a solid axle... not everyone is trail riding with big ruts. IRS sure is damn comfy although

I have apolaris sport 400 an it hasnt fallen apart on me yet.THough I go thru my machines religiously an take good care of them,I dont overly abuse em either.I think its kinda cool somebody is coming out with 1 thats a chain driven shift 700,I like the v force but if it had a chain an a manual it would be crazy wild specially when there modded.I also have an older suzuki king quad 300 before ya pfffttt knock it,its amazing what this lil machine will pull.
