In need of a fuel pump for an 87 TRX 350D, anyone know the LPH rate of the stock pump? I've read a few places where people have used a standard automotive fuel pump as a cheap (and available for under $100) replacement but am concerned about too high pressure and too high flow of the standard automotive fuel pumps. I purchased a used pump about 7 years ago and it's worked well..until now...
Also looking for a used starter. Purchased one on Ebay new but even though the part numbers matched correctly the neck on the new starter where is seats into the starter gear cavity of the engine case was a quarter inch too long. I've had the original starter rebrushed once 4 years or so ago and suppose I could get that done again but was hoping for a more permanant solution.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions. If you have a fuel pump or starter motor you can email me at rwaegner@yahoo.com offline.

Remove the fuel tube from the carburetor and put the end into a graduated beaker. Turn the ignition switch ON for 5 seconds and then turn the switch OFF. Measure the amount of gasoline pumped into the beaker and multiply it by 12. STANDARD DELIVERY: 270-330 cc (9.1 - 1 1 .2 oz) per minute.
Replace the fuel pump, if delivery is not within the specification listed..
