Guys, I ran my battery down the other day and couldn't get it to charge back up. Just got a new battery and put it in and when I turn the key it still doesn't want to turn over. It will crank a couple of slow cranks then I hear the selenoid buzz. Any ideas?

Just a question did you charge the battery b4 putting it in? Check to see what you have for voltage on the terminal's. if you have a multimeter that is. It should be 12+ volts, if it is crank it over with a meter on the terminals. if the voltage drops below 12 your new battery is junk too.

 

I let it charge for an hour but I guess that wasn't enough. So after about 3 hrs of charge it fires up like a champ. Thanks for the help.
