Pimpa400ex, You won't believe me but I was stationed down at Seymour Johnson AFB in Goldsboro from 94-98! You mentioned Buckleberry as a riding area, and I can tell you that it is a real nice spot to ride. I used to live maybe 25 or 30 minutes from there and my cousins lived there also and we used to go and fish and shoot at Buckleberry all the time. Unfortunately, the EPA found out about all the lead in the dirt bank and shut down the shooting part of it all after I had left there in '98. My cousins still go fishing there occasionally. It is real sandy and you got to be careful of the rednecks who tear it up in pickups or you will get mashed FLAT! Yes, I have done it too! But I really did have a great time down there and will try to get back there when I leave Alaska. There is also a huge powerline in the same general area and my buddies took BIG TIRED trucks in there but I don't know if it is legal or not to ride there. To find it you just need to look at a map that shows Seymour Johnson AFB and the surrounding area and look for the big power line on the back side of the base that runs down toward Grantham (very small). Other than Uwharrie, I don't know of too many other areas you can ride other than private land. Good luck and ride safe!!

Well, I live in clinton NC, and we have a pretty good place 2 ride, we can basically go everywhere we want in clinton from all of the paths we have through the woods. It is usually me and about 5 or 6 other people. Only one other 400ex which has MAJOR mods and claims can turn 100 EASY. A suzuki quadsport, 200sx, yamaha trailbike, 300 fourtrax, 450 forman S, and a couple of trailblazers. We have lots of fun especially after it rains, Mud everywhere, long straights 4 racing, hills, wood trails, ditches, just about everything, even a path that comes up right behind a gas station. Get back 2 me if u want more info. It is a pretty good place...
