Very impressed...06250ex

I went to haspin acres friday with a few friends for are annual day after thanksgiving ride. One of my friends has my old prairie 360 2wd and it wasn't in any condition to survive a day at haspin so I let him use my daughters 06 250ex. The little honda hadn't seen any real abuse since I bought it and I was interested to see how it would do. My buddy is about 6'2 180lbs and a pretty good rider. He rode the hell out that quad all day and it NEVER missed a beat, climbed some decent hills, sloshed through a fair share of mud, and bounced off of more than one rock. At the end of the day he said he had a blast and one way or the other he was able to keep up with everybody. I knew it was a great quad for my 16yo to learn on but didn't know how it would perform with an experienced rider in tough conditions. Just thought I would pass on my .02..

The little 250 is based on the Recon, and one thing folks overlook is that it has pretty descent ground clearance, being shaft drive. It is also small and very agile.
My boys follow me around everywhere I go on my Rancher! I would say that they ride them more like they are "trials" bikes (that's trials...not trails), constantly taking advantage of the light weight and small size of the machine!
