Default D1,D2 ????? and also valve setting 07 rubicon

I guess I am kind of confused on this. on a 2007 Rubicon, which is better to use while just cruising around and trail riding or normal use?

Only reason I ask is that I have heard on older models pre 05 that it was backwards.

Any help would be great, also when adjusting the valves what are the spec settings I should be using?? I know how to do it I just don't know what they should be set to.

whatever you think fits your shifting desires. I found that D2 works well when you want to putt around and keep the revs low, but it was not ready for things that require full power, like a long hill climb. D1 was better if you were riding aggressively.

I preferred ESP. I did not hear they changed D1 to torque peak shift and D2 to hp peak shift.

I like setting them a little tight on the feeler gauge.
Honda conciders a cold engine to be like 90 to 95 degrees when valves are set
