2007 trx 400

Building up a new quad is a kick! Here is what I have done to my 400EX, which I bought new in 1999. Must have 20,000 miles on it. Motor never touched. Still running strong!
DG Baja full chassis and swingarm skid plates.
DG Race Peg nerfs. (Important safety item!)
IMS Dominator bumper.
TAG metals bars. (Can't remember which model, but they have a lower position than stock bars, which I really like.)
EHS Racing airbox lid with Outerwears.
ProDesign (ProFlow) adapter and foam air filter.
FMF PowerBomb header and PowerCore4 muffler.
Some gearing changes, depending on where I am riding.
ITP Holeshot XC tires, on ITP Baja rims. (Makes the quad several inches wider, for greater stability.)
WorksPerformance Steelers shocks with cans in front/UltraCross in back. (This is the best suspended quad I have ever ridden! It eats huge desert whoops like nothing....)
Leave the engine alone! You go messing with it, and you will just destroy its superb reliability!!!
