Coolant heater placement
It's another whole can of worms, but if I were you I would make it a point to get on the throttle some right from the beginning. Rings need heat/pressure to seat. I'm not saying you should do a sustained top speed run bouncing off the rev limiter, just give it throttle and climb some hills or something during break-in.
Other than that, do the first oil change early (you probably want to run a lighter viscosity than what came in the machine anyway- look at the chart in the manual), and make sure to check the valves acording to schedule.
Two coolant heaters would probably be overkill, IMHO.
You are lucky to be able to ride on the street, but I don't think I'd trade places with you (+40 and sunny here right now).
