Lost my ride already

We have been riding my new Foreman 500 around the farm a bit so the wife says she would like to try it. Well long story short. I guess I will heading back to the dealer to check out what kind of a deal I can get on a new Recon if I want my Foreman back.

I agree. If you get a Recon, my bet would be you won't get the Foreman back from the wife... (No offense to the Recon, it is a nice, well built machine).
If you brought home a Rincon, you would be back on the Foreman in no time... Plus you'd earn major brownie points with the wife.

If you are considering a Recon, also look at the 250EX! It is basically a Recon platform and will do anything the Recon will, it just doesn't have the racks and big fenders for mud protection. It's a whopping 50 pounds ligher....which the little lady might appreciate!

Thanks for the advice about what to get the wife but I am more or less commited to Honda. I know the other metric makes are good quality but I just feel Honda makes the finest power equipment available and I perfer the all gear drive platform. As far as getting me something else and letting her have the Foreman. Well I really like it better than the other models and the Recon fits her style of riding better. Also the local dealer has a promotion going where if you buy a Foreman you can get a 06 Recon for half price.

Every quad someone mentioned above (Rincon, and EX250) is a Honda...
I can't blame you for liking the Foreman (I like mine), but you might at least look at the other options. The Honda 420 Rancher is a little physically smaller, EFI and liquid cooled and snappy and fun to ride. The Honda 680 Rincon has a 3 speed torque converter type auto and independent rear suspension. Compared to the Foreman it glides over rough stuff like a Cadillac cruising down a smooth road... but it lacks the down hill engine braking of the Foreman.

Get her a Rancher420 4X4!
When she buries that 2-wheel drive Recon on the farm in the mud guess who she is going to come running to for help! LOL!
The 420 has EFI, is lightweight, liquid cooled, and is low priced! She will LOVE it!......and you can get yours back!! LOL!
