Which should I get?

 

Banshee's are alot of fun. They are at there best in the dunes and wide open areas. If you plan on doing any jumping or climbing, trail riding or just riding long distances you must go with a 450. The Shee's drink gas like it's red bull.

 

Gotta second the TRX 450R. I would say if you were going to dump a ton of engine money buy the Banshee, but a cheap HRC kit in the TRX and you won't be dis-appointed.

 

The Shee has a thrilling powerband (but so does the TRX!), but the frame geometry and handling are from two generations ago.....and was never that great even back in its day.

Let the old Shee die a natural death, and step up to modern engines and handling!

Something occured to me as I was writing this. I live along the I-10, the main route from LA to Glamis. Use to be you saw nothing but Shees loaded on the trailers....now Shees are getting pretty rare. I think that tells us that most folks have moved on to something else.......

 

the only reason i whould ever buy a shee is if i was going to dump a ton of money in it and make it a hill shooter. get the 450 you wont be dissaponted.
and recon is right all the shee got replaced by 450s. when i was going 10 years ago half of our group had shee's now only 1 out of like 15 of us has one.
