I want to replace the plastic on my 400ex with black plastic from Maier. The only place I have been able to find black has been Nac's Racing. It will cost me $245 + shipping.

Is the Maier plastic worth that much money?
What is the quality of their product?

in my opinion, no, not when the stock plastic is so cheap.

 

I don't want stock because I want to get rid of the lights, and I also want black plastic.

Any suggestions?

 

I don't like maier plastic it dull looking and doesn't fit right. Try Moto force or full bore they probably make black plastic for a 400ex

i had a maier race front, i loved mine. they fite really snug if you take your time.

all of the maire fenders are dull i bought a rear one after geting hit from behind and it takes a while to lighn up expecialy geting the fender on the quad after you put it on the seat. but i looks allright but it is dull but shiners will shine it up.

 

don't want the lights? cut them out and run a 250R hood.

 

What are you guys using to brighten up your maier plastic? I just put white plastic on my bike and would like to shine it up. Any ideas? Karl
