Rode with a guy that has a 300ex today, we got to talking he said my foutrax 300 2wd I had has a higher top speed than his 300ex.

this true? I know they both use the same engine the 282cc, that 300 I had was geared low surely he isn't right... he said the 300ex would ofcouse win in a drag but top speed is slighty higher with the fourtrax.

was just curious..

also did they change anything with that engine between the ex and the fourtrax to make it better suited for the ex? besides the ratios of the bikes ofcourse.
