Well I bought my 07 on 1/18/08..i perferred the 07 body so I had him order one as he had started getting hte 08's and wouldn't be getting anymore 07's.


ANYWAY, ok IMO the bike looks fairly good, I DON'T like how the seat is real narrow up front and wide at the rear, just don't like it looks wise.

I also noticed on the engine honda didn't put that sealant on the engine like my 07 has, I love this stuff it keeps mud from sticking to the engine and letting it stain the motor...u guys know what I'm talking about right? well the 08 is just bare metal EVERYWHERE on the engine......big nono IMO I like the the engine coated.

besides that it's just what fender style you like, the white is OK imo and the red has too much black in it for me.

all in all same 4wheeler 08 looks iight but I perfer the 07 but thats is just to each his own.

thought I'd share since I haven't heard much about um!

BTW I'm liking my 400ex a lot better now, it starts a lot easier now with about 10hrs on it, I still may gear it down a tad...I hose all my rides off after I ride it which I ride on 26 acers of open land at the house so mine years later will look new since it's open fields...

after u guys hose your off use this stuff I use called 303 aerospace protectant I've been using 303 products for years it's a water based armor all type protectant that doesn't leave your stuff greasy...try it! works good on atv fenders, seat etc..

 

anyone have a 08 yet? any other diffs you see in them?
