Where do you recommend getting A-arm bushings for 400ex. I went to the Honda dealer the other day and they told me they were $25 a piece. Does anyone know where I can find them cheaper?

You can get the lower arm for $50 and the upper for $80 from Honda. This price includes the ball-joint and the upper bushings.

CHECK OUT TM. DESIGNWORKS(541)535-1612. THEY HAVE COMLETE KIT STARTING FOR AROUND $79.00. THEY SAY THEY WILL OUTLAST THE STOCK HONDA BUSHINGS 5 TO 1.

THANKS!

I just checked out their web site. I can't get over how good their prices are.

Have you ever bought from them?
Are they reputable?

I just got a used 400EX and I know I'll need some parts. This is the place to buy.

Just placed my first order with them a couple of days ago...

Some of the guys on the 400EX e-mail list have only had good things to say.

NOT AS I KNOW OF. THEY HAVE A ADD IN THE BACK OF DIRTWHEELS. GIVE THEM A CALL AND I'M SURE THEY WILL SEND YOU A CATALOG. I HAVE ONE AT HOME, BUT THAT DOESN'T HELP YOU MUCH.

I would try and weld them together then there will be no more slack in the front end or you could use lots of duct tape because its good for 100mph

Is it normal for the 400EX a-arms bushings to have a little play in them?
My 2000 has some play. I checked out new 2001 at a dealership today, and it had the same amout of movment.
