Default 86' 200sx motor problems

Hi all, first time posting but been lurking for a while now. Love this site. It's full of great info!! Was hoping someone might be able to help me out now.
I just picked up a 200sx 2 weeks ago thats been sitting outside for 3 or so years.
I cleaned, greased and tuned as best I could and got the thing running for 2 days.
Went to start it up last night and got one pull out of it when it froze up on me. I tore the top end off of it this morning to find the exhaust valve snapped in half laying on top of the piston. Now it needs some new parts and can't for the life of me find internals for this motor. Anyone know of a parts supplier for these older engines other than ebay?
It was actually a fun little toy for the 2 days we got to play with it. I wouldn't mind getting it up and running again if it's not going to cost me an arm and a leg.

I also need to get a service manual for it or atleast some torque specs for the motor. Is there an outlet for the manuals?

Yeah, I'm not sure what broke the valve yet. The valve spings and guides look to be in decent shape still.
I'm starting to think the "homemade varnish" from the old gas had something to do with it. I had to clean the carb 3 times in 2 days because of the residue left behind.
Thought I had the tank clean. Started with deisel fuel, then switched to regular gas and left the tank in back of my truck for a day while I drove to and from work for a couple hundred miles letting it slosh around. I then drained it and repeated that step. But I still was getting a nasty residue on the throttle sleeve and inside the carb.
Anyone have a better idea for removing the old bad gas from the tank?
I think I'm going to try muriatic acid and water treatment if I can find some parts for this thing. But maybe there's a better solution?

Dillon, I did a search for winnercycle, but didn't look like they had a way to look up or purchase parts over the internet.

Well the carb isn't the problem. Cleaning with carb cleaner did the trick really well on it.
I'm more worried about the tank it self. I did put an inline filter before the carb after the second cleaning. It didn't seem to help much, other than let me see the crud moving thru the lines. heh

I did just find an E-bay seller who has all the items I need for this rebuild, but would rather not buy thru E-bay if I don't have too.
So if you could get that website addy, it would be greatly appreciated!

Contact G&H Discount Atv Supply. They also sell services on ebay. I had them rebuild the head on my 200sx about six months ago. They put all new valves, springs and retainers in. They did a great job and I recommend them highly! On top of that I got a cam from Web Cams. Max over bore piston and my jug bored through a local atv shop. The old quad is pretty snappy now!

Hope this helps.

Stang302, Thanks for the info! I'll look them up. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for the top end rebuild?
I went by a local shop today and got some prices on most the parts. Suprised Honda still stocks most of this stuff! Little pricey but still available.

Dillon, This is a 4 wheeler.

All together with the head rebuild, Web cam, bore and piston it ended up running around 450-500. With myself doing all the work. I also picked up a cobra exhaust a couple years ago for about 125.

Top end: 150.

Head: 125

So you could do it cheaper as long as your cam and cam bearings are still in good shape.
