Hello all,

Just recently puchased this atv after it had been sitting for sometime, i have had the carb professionaly cleaned, replaced oil and filter, the air filter, and fresh gas. However it runs fine when choked full or half way, but when i take the choke off it will die after 5-10 seconds. Any ideas or advice?? Thanks

 

sounds like the carb needs adjustment. Did the professional reinstall the carb or did you? If he did then he should make the adjustments to get it to run right.

 

May just need to be idled up.should be a screw on the carb somewhere that you can turn and it will make your engine idle faster.You wont have to turn very far for it to idle faster.
