The R-Series is more aimed at racing and is a loud exhaust. The E-Series is more aimed at everything else and racing if you want it to. Plus the E-Series is quieter than the R-Series.

Which produces more power? I am looking at the E series or the R, Not sure which yet, but, I like the R's looks! How loud is the E series? Does the R have discs?/ thanks

The newest issue of 4 wheel atv action(i think thats the magazine) has a shootout on a bunch of different pipes for the 400ex.The E-Series put out more horses than The R-Series according to them. The E-Series makes 27.9 hp at the rear wheels, the R makes 26.something.The E-series and a CT Racing pipe tied for 1st.E stands for eliptical(as in eliptical discs).

"E" stands for Elliptical, referring to the shape of the cannister. I think...
